About Pack 325

History

Since 1959, Pack 325 has been helping young scouts through Cub Scouting. Our Pack’s year-round family program is designed for boys and girls who are in kindergarten through fifth grade, ages 5-10. Parents, leaders, and Scouts have fun together as we achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting.

We provide a program that promotes good decision-making, kindness, respect, honesty, and fun for both Scouts and families.

GIRLS and BOYS are welcome to join our pack.

About our Pack

Pack 325 is a Cub Scout pack based out of San Jose, CA in the Pioneer District of the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council of Scouts of America.

Pack 325 is chartered by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. We are a non-denominational Pack and have scouts from many faiths.

Schools: We accept boys and girls from all schools and have many local schools represented including Latimer, Baker, Easterbrook Discovery, and Country Lane.

Meetings: Pack 325 typically meets on the first Tuesday of the month throughout the school year at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Fundraising: We keep fundraising simple with one fundraiser each year. Scholarships may be available.

What is a Den?

We organize boys into the following age/grade levels:

Scouts at each level are grouped into Dens. A Den will meet 2-3 times per month, the day they meet depends on the Den schedule. All Dens added together make a Pack.

A Pack 325 uniform patch and a pack t-shirt are provided to each scout as part of your dues.

A trained and registered member of Scouts BSA leads a Den. They are a parent volunteer who either have or have had a Scout in the Pack. Additionally, Lion and Tiger Cubs also have an Adult Partner who attends all Den meetings and Pack events. Other Cub Scouts need to have an adult with them at all Pack Events.

Pack Events

Pack 325’s fun, year-round, family-based program includes many Pack activities! Some of our many activities include:

All Pack 325 events are open to all family members - parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, grandparents - EVERYONE! One of our goals is to maintain and strengthen family bonds as the Scout grows and discovers new things.

Supplies

After you join, your new Cub Scout normally wants you to hurry up and get a uniform. There are lots of things you can buy. The uniform colors are based on your Den level.
