Shopping List for new Tiger Scouts

• Required items

  1. Shirt—The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets. (Short sleeve is most common)

  2. Hat—Official blue hat with orange front and Tiger emblem.

  3. Neckerchief—Orange triangular neckerchief with Tiger logo. 

  4. Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with orange Tiger emblem. 

  5. Patches

     • US Flag patch - may be provided on shirt

     • Council patch - may be provided on shirt

     • Den number patch - ask leader for your number

     • Pack number patch - can be our provided single red patch or individual red number patches

  6. Tiger handbook - guides child through the Tiger program

• Optional items

• • Pants— Shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll up pants all are in official blue. (Technically required but we often use child's own blue pants/shorts instead)

  • Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle. (Good for displaying earned belt loops)

  • Badge Magic - to easily attach the badges, much easier than sewing. Get it online or from the Scout Store.

Tips from Pack 325 Parents

• Visit the Scout Store in person where the staff can help you try on the items to test fit.

• Use Badge Magic to apply the patches. It's much easier than sewing. Get it online or from the Scout Store

• Although pants/shorts/skorts are technically required, parents often use the child's own blue pants/shorts to save cost.

• The badge for Pack 325 can be purchased as separate red numbers but we often provide a combined 325 patch to use.

• Write your child's name in the uniform parts. Hats and slides often go missing.

     • US Flag patch - may be provided on shirt

     • Council patch - may be provided on shirt

     • Den number patch

     • Pack number patch - can be our provided single red patch or individual red number patches

     • Den leader patch - specific level each year

  3. Leader handbook

• Optional items

• • Pants— Shorts, long pants, skorts, available but often leaders use jeans instead.

  • Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle. (Good for displaying earned belt loops)

  • Hat - optional, your choice of style

  • Neckerchief or other tie -optional, your choice of style

  • Badge Magic - to easily attach the badges, much easier than sewing. Get it online or from the Scout Store.
